On August 18th 2008 Cut Off Your Hands release their new single 'Expectations' through SixSeveNine Recordings, this single is the first taster of what's to come from their debut album 'You and I' due for release later this year.

'You and I' was produced by Bernard Butler famous for his with with Brit artists such as Duffy, The Libertines and Manic Street Preachers. The band have had a busy year so far, they've been continuously touring up and down the country and they joined The Black Kids on their recent UK tour and Liverpudlian group The Wombats. Cut Off Your Hands are currently gearing up for their own headline tour of the UK to coincide with the release of their album, as soon as their UK tour has finished, the band will also be playing a set of dates around major cities in America.
