Following on from the cult success of previous underground singles including December's 'Air War', Toronto's, Crystal Castles return with Courtship Dating, the lead-in to their debut album (due April 28th 2008).
Released on April 21st, 'Courtship Dating' features Alice's harrowing vocals over Ethan's acid damaged beats, which are spasmodically interrupted by a series of bleeps, screams and general waywardness.
Their true nihilistic aesthetic and musical diversity really comes to life with the live show. This formidable live legacy is cemented in the debris of past shows, which have consisted of crippled stage barriers, punishing electronics and menacing strobes.
Crystal Castles are heading back to the UK for a full headline tour in May.
