Cajun Dance Party release their next single, 'The Race' on April 21st 2008 through XL recordings, produced by Bernard Butler in Edwyn Collins' West Heath Studios in London. This is the North London quintet's follow-up single to last year's release 'Amylase'.

Cajun Dance Party's plan to release two albums this year. The first album 'The Colourful Life' is also produced by Benard Butler and features all three singles, clocking in at nine tracks over 39 mind-bogglingly joyous minutes. It'll be released on 28tth April while the band are still at school, simply existing as a musical firmament without the distractions of touring or days filled with back-to-back promotion.

Instead, the band will finish their A Levels, keep rehearsing, then head straight back into the studio to record a second album which is scheduled for release later in 2008.
