Ben Harper's new single 'Shimmer and Shine' is the first track to be taken from his new album 'White Lies For Dark Times', the single and album are both released on the same day 27th April 09, through Virgin Records. This is Ben Harper's tenth album!

Ben Harper now has the addition of a backing band. The Relentless7 consist of Jason Mozersky, Jordan Richardson and Jesse Ingalls. Mozersky was driving Ben to a gig in the mid 90's and Jason convinced Ben to listen to his then bands demo, Ben was so impressed by what he heard he helped launch Mozersky's old band. Unfortunately the band fell apart so Ben took the opportunity to form a band with Jason and two of his friends. Relentless7 was born.
