Following their two massive hit singles 'Fascination' and '10,000 Nights' not to mention a Top 10 debut album Alphabeat are back with a brand new single 'Boyfriend' released in August.

Alphabeat will also be heading out on their biggest UK tour to date in October

The 'Boyfriend' single will feature remixes from the likes of Alex Metric, Caged Baby and WAWA and will also feature the band's Live Lounge version of Black & Gold by Sam Sparro's as an exclusive B-Side.

The twelve-legged hit machine that is Alphabeat are set to release their new single 'Boyfriend' on 25 August. 'Boyfriend' has been described as one of the stand out moments on their debut album and a high point in their sparkling live shows, 'Boyfriend' is set to further institute Alphabeat as one of the breakthrough acts of 2008.

The band are Stine Bramsen on vocals, Anders SG on vocals, Anders B on guitar, Rasmus Nagelon keyboards, Anders Reinholdt on bass and Troels Hansen on drums.

After leaving Denmark for the UK last Autumn, Alphabeat have swayed the toughest cynics with their bouncy and zealous live performances.

Alphabeat's singles 'Fascination' and '10,000 Nights' have received amazing airplay and have done very well in the charts plus, their debut album This Is Alphabeat has had critics probing for superlatives to describe its magical pure-bred pop.

Now new single 'Boyfriend' is sure to bring the band even closer to the UK's musical mind. 3 minutes of sharp, hyper-charged pop music provides the backcloth to Stine's words of warning "don't you touch my boyfriend, he's not your boyfriend, he's mine", a line that is certain to resound across Britain's nightclubs all Summer long.
