Santogold is certainly a cool chick playing uncompromising music. Hailing from Brooklyn and with a past history of working with big name rap and r’n’b stars she certainly is playing what she wants.

There are lots of influences such as punk, new wave and electro but with the soul and angst of a soulful singer it does create an interesting sound and sounds fresh. ‘Say Aha’ is definitely cool, interesting, and quirky and has lots of attitude. The groove is good and it’s definitely unique. Not bad at all.
