Ida Maria, a modern day Janis Joplin, releases "Stella", an incredibly enjoyable song to listen to. It's a lingering track, a tune that you'll be humming non-sensically for hours after listening to it. The chorus is so very, very memorable. Ida Maria's vocal capacity is overwhelming, it's magical and fresh. Her lyrics are delivered with a degree of verve and force but still clinging to poppy boundaries. It's definitely been a while since a pop-song of such vigour, passion and momentum has been released.

Ida Maria is a female virtuoso that will have a major impact on the music industry if she keeps turning out tracks like this. "Stella" is dynamic and catchy; an audible treat.
