Review of Dan Black’s single ‘Yours’

Dan Black releases ‘Yours’ on A&M. Black received praise for his version of Notorious B.I.G ‘Hypntz’ to acclaim. I like this track. It’s pretty edgy with his angst delivery and attitude as well as the music being well produced and bouncy.

It’s not hip hop but it has that Neptune influence and cool vibe. It’s definitely a track that could be popular and appeal to hip kids who are not selling out. So I reckon that’s a winner in my eyes and I’m certainly interested to see what he releases next.
