Duo Joey Burns and John Convertino (aka Calexico) are renowned for their eclectic musical approach and the latest single taken from the Arizona twosome’s sixth album, Carried To Dust on City Slang is no exception.

Spiritual, atmospheric and hugely oriental in style, ‘Two Silver Trees’ features hushed screaming guitar, accordion and keys to convey a relaxed and good-natured mood. With a host of already critically acclaimed work to their name, Calexico’s most recent single is a strong indication that the duo’s latest album will provide further praise. Very good.
