Woody Allen directs a fantastic cast in Vicky Christina Barcelona. When two American girls go on holiday to Barcelona for the summer, they are introduced to a whole new European world. At an art gallery they meet an artist who's hosting an exhibition of his work. From the start, artist Juan Antonio is open with the girls and freely admits he'd like to seduce them both.
Christina doesn't show much contempt to the idea but Vicky is dead set in her ways and tells him she's engaged to be married. After a little persuasion the two go and stay with Antonio at his house where the girls meet his ex-wife. The 4 very different people become entangled in one and others lives and the outcome is both entertaining and messy.
