The Ruins Clips

The Ruins was written by Academy Award®-nominated screenwriter Scott Smith and based on his best selling book. The story follows some friends who go on holiday together and visit an isolated archaeological dig in the Mexican jungle. The group are suddenly thrown into a brutal struggle for survival against some of the jungles unexplained evils.

Amy (Jena Malone) and Stacy (Laura Ramsey), are two best friends who go on holiday with their respective boyfriends. After spending a week doing the usual Sun, Sea and Beach routine, the group decide to go on an adventure to possibly find some Mayan ruins. The trip turns sour as the group are forced to face deadly horrors.
