Keanu Reeves stars in The Day The Earth Stood Still, a remake of the classic 1951 movie. Reeves plays an alien called Klaatu, when Klaatu lands on earth he causes global upheaval.

Whilst the worlds best scientists and governments try to understand what's happened and figure out the mystery behind Klaatu's arrival, a woman and her child find themselves getting caught up in the situation and find themselves being told the consequences of his being a self-described "friend to the Earth".
