In Surrogates, a new phenomenon has totally altered the world we live in. A new system has been developed to allow people to live the lives they wish with no danger involved. When you plug into your surrogate robot you he takes your place in the world whist you remain in the safety of your own home, making it easy to experience things you never thought possible before. When a homicide happens, FBI agents Greer and Peters must look into the mysterious case, for the first time, it seems someone has been murdered through their surrogate robot, a situation that renders the whole surrogate system useless. The questions now seem to be, who is real and who are living their lives through their surrogate selves and just who can you trust?
