Evelyn Salt is a CIA officer who's always been on top of her game. The oath she took when she joined the service she lives by. When a Russian defector comes into their headquarters and tells the officers of a plan to kill the president she and the other officers don't take him seriously until her mentions the name of the spy Evelyn Salt. Evelyn is forced to run for her life, prove her innocence and protect her family whilst always staying one step ahead of the other CIA officers trying to bring her in.
