Director Panna Rittikrai teams up with martial arts expert Tony Jaa once again in the new film Ong Bak: The Beginning. Ong-Bak: The Beginning is a prequel to their 2003 film Ong Bak. Set 600 years in the past, Tien is a young boy, the son of a nobleman who witnesses the murder of his family. Close to death, Tien is saved by Chernang a renowned warrior who takes Tien in and as he grows up he trains him into one of the Thailands most deadly warriors. Now a young man, trained in various styles of Martial Arts, Tien embarks on a mission to avenge his family.

With breathtaking scenery and fight scenes that are only associated with Tony Jaa, Ong Bak: The Beginning is 2009's best martial arts movie.
