When the Israeli Defense Minister moves into a new house, his next door neighbour a window called Salma is ordered to remove the trees on her property as they pose a threat to the Ministers safety.

Salma's quest becomes known to the Defense Minister's wife and the two women form a bond. The trees are the only thing Salma has left, she hires a lawyer and fights to keep her livelihood.
