Last Chance Harvey is the story of a chance meeting between two very different people. Harvey is a jingle writer, he doesn't find any pleasure from his job - he always dreamt of becoming a professional pianist. Kate is a British bureaucrat, outside of her job, the only contact she seems to have with humans is her obsessed mother.

When Harvey travels to the UK for his daughters wedding, he decides to cut his trip short. At the airport he misses his plane and a conversation is struck up with Kate. The two experience a stolen afternoon together, finding out about one and others lives. A heart warming story through the struggles love can cause.
