Cheri is the story of a gorgeous retired courtesan Léa and the son of Mme Peloux ,an old competitor of Lea. Her son Cheri is immature and appears to be quite a cold character but Lea finds herself attracted to him.

When Mme Peloux decides it's time for her son to get married Léa and Cheri must separate after six years of living in each and others company, by the time the couple realise their feelings for one and other, plans for Cheri's marriage are imminent.

Set in the lavish surroundings of pre-First World War Paris, Cheri features beautiful cinematography and the settings are used to the maximum.
