Brideshead Revisited is a period drama set in a pre-war England in 1925. Charles Ryder is a painter but he's always lived a very modest lifestyle, when a new friendship with Sebastian Flyte - the son of Lord Marchmain - introduces Charles into a whole new world full of glamour, flamboyance and lastly but most importantly money, his entire world is turned upside down.
Charles is invited by his friend Sebastian to stay at their family home 'Brideshead', quickly he becomes besotted with Sebastian's sister Julia, as his relationship grows stronger with the family, he finds them constantly at odds with their catholic faith.
