The director of Titanic James Cameron takes us on a journey into new worlds with his sci-fi film Avatar. The film takes place on a beautiful moon called Pandora, it's land is predominately jungle and native life forms range from the beautiful to the frightening.

Jake Scully is an ex-marine who was paralyzed in combat. Jake joins a task force who are on Pandora to mine for its valuable resources. Pandora is home to the Na'vi, a race of creatures similar to human but they are considerably taller, have blue skin and they also have tails. The air on Pandora is unbreatable for humans but the military have found away to work around that, they have bred a new form of life, a human mind inside a Na'vi body, this new breed is called the Avatar.
