Adam is a young man who's never really been in touch with the outside world. He suffers from Aspergers syndrome which means he finds it hard to deal with social situations. The world is a quite place for Adam and he has strange ways of dealing with things. When a new neighbour, Beth, moves into his apartment block she decides she's going to bring Adam into the outside world.
