Gary Go - Self-titled Album Review

Review of Gary Go's self-titled EP.

Described as Indie/Rock, I'm not sure that I would really put him into this category after listening to his EP. It has a lot more pop to it than rock.

The self titled EP, 'Gary Go', features his debut release 'Wonderful' which is quite an emotive and yet uplifting track. It certainly stands out as one of the strongest on this five track EP.

This is not to say that the remaining four tracks are not up to standard. Each demonstrates some really nice acoustic guitar work, unusual and yet strangely curious lyrics, and Gary certainly has talent vocally.

Gary Go definitely has more of a pop element to it than many male soloists around at the moment. Put it this way. I can see why Take That chose him to support their tour last year. Gary Go compliments them perfectly.
