The Sex Substitute 2 Movie Review

I've grown accustomed to all cheesy skin flicks being unbearably bad, but believe it or not The Sex Substitute 2 is often funny and remarkably watchable. Sure, it's cheese -- the movie is about a professional housesitter (Scott Duke) who gets into trouble when his current gig (a bankrupt bed & breakfast) is mistaken for the sex clinic/resort down the road. Housesitter pretends he's the doctor and when he's not "treating" the guests, he's trying to get it on with the owner's hottie sister (Ander Page).

It's actually a pretty intelligent plot for a Skinemax pic. I can't say I was on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next (or namely, who would sleep with whom), but I was amused enough by Duke's Michael Keaton-esque facial expressions and genial good sportsmanship about the film to enjoy it much more than most films of its ilk.

That said, is there any way to convince these people to stop with the damn tattoos? I little heart on your ass is okay, but covering your back in Chinese script is just plain ugly.
