"Dolph Lundgren is Back to Save the World!"
Yowza, you'd think we were on the eve of nuclear destruction or something, but
alas, it's too late for even Dolph to save anything, as a 9.5 earthquake in the
year 2006 has reversed the flow of the Mississippi River and broken California
off into the sea, where army officer Dolph and a band of misfits find
themselves holed up in a shabby, Mad Maxish desert existence. If the heat,
lack of food, and dearth of water don't get you, the crazies who live at the
old prison up the road probably will!
With mutant goats and looney post-apocalyptic madness, The Last Warrior reeks
of nuclear fallout without the cataclysm. While the mixed metaphor makes the
film wholly, entirely unbelievable, a cast of nutty supporting characters makes
this direct-to-video bit of goofiness enough fun to make the 90 minutes just
fly by.
Don't drink any mutant milk, folks!
Aka The Last Patrol.
