Often depressing and banal, this "comedy" occasionally manages to rise above
its subject matter (theory: manogomy is impossible) to be lighthearted and
entertaining. Silverman and Dempsey make for an incredible duel of bad
acting. Fortunately, the ladies save the show. Sort of.
