Bounce: Behind the Velvet Rope Movie Review

"You gotta do what you gotta do," and if you're a bouncer, that pretty much means busting skulls, working out, tanning, and fussing over your Sylvester Stallone scrapbook. This shortish documentary analyzes the workings of a few mostly Manhattan and Queens bouncers, proving once and for all that some members of the human race are more pit bull than man. Their bizarre habits are, at the very least, the case for considerable mockery -- but after about half an hour, looking at wounds and comparing workout rituals gets a bit tedious.
