Bodysong Movie Review

Simon Pummell actually had the gall to give himself a writing credit (which we're withholding) for this document chronicling the human experience, a film composed of stock footage and other people's home movies which has no dialogue whatsoever. What we have here is a cut-rate version of Koyaanisqatsi and its ilk, films which the directors have meticulously selected images to fit into their themes of life, war, or what have you. Bodysong slaps a Radiohead-originated jazz soundtrack on a bunch of random images we've seen umpteen times before (Vietnamese guy executed, blindfolded guy gets blasted with wind which causes his cheeks to balloon out). That's life?
