The globally renowned World of Music, Arts & Dance (Womad) Festival will be taking place at Charlton Park, Marmesbury, Wiltshire on 25th, 26th and 27th July. Tickets for 2008 are expected to sell fast.

From Egypt to Cuba, India to France, Cambodia to Brazil and Japan, the 2008 line up already has a fantastic mix of acts confirmed from 36 countries across the world.

Eddy Grant. "I'm delighted to be playing Womad. Womad is still about real people from all over the world coming together to play real music... I'm thrilled, it's going to be a great event, to be going back on the road after 25 years and play Womad is something very special for me."

Tickets are available from their website with a special reduced price available until the end of February, saving £10 per adult ticket. Two children under the age of 13 will be allowed to attend the festival for free with every adult ticket purchased. A day ticket is also available for Sunday 27 July.

Weekend Ticket:

£115 (SPECIAL OFFER, until 29th February, includes camping from Fri - Mon)
£125 (1st March onwards, includes camping from Fri - Mon)
£100 (ES40 claimants, students, over 60s & 14-17 year olds)
Day Ticket: £50 (Sunday ONLY)
N.B. Thursday Camping ticket: £10 (For access to festival site from 24 July)
