Full Ponty Big Day Out In The Park show this week, with the news that chart-toppers The Automatic are to be special guests at lostprophet's homecoming party gig in Ponty Park on May 26th. Currently touring Europe and featured in last week's Burberry Workers Concert, the band have recently signed a massive record deal in the States and are in the vanguard of the New British Invasion of the US. They are one of the first tranche of bands to be added to the show. Other acts confirmed include Californian ska-punksters, Reel Big Fish, The Blackout, Dopamine, Miss Conduct (newly signed to prophet's label Visible Noise), Viva Machine, Eric Unseen and Valley's hotshots, The Guns. Organisers are now planning 3 different stages, a huge onsite bar, a funfair with merchandise/festival stalls and promise the full festival experience in one day on the Ynys Angharad site. Further acts will be announced by the Pop Factory in the coming weeks.
