Leeds & Reading Festival

The Leeds & Reading Festival does exactly what it says on the tin. One bank holiday in August where music and booze flow to your hearts content. This festival has always held a special place in the hearts of music lovers.

For anyone who isn't familiar with the set up for the Leeds & Reading Festival, it consists of 6 stages. Previously there were 6 stages consisting of: The Main Stage, Radio One/NME stage, The Lock-up, Dance Stage, Radio One Introducing Stage & the Comedy Stage. Obviously, the largest area is given to the main stage but as far as the acts performing, it's very talent is equally spread over each stage. This year plays the host to a brand new unsigned stage! Sandman, BBC Raw Talent, BBC Introducing and Leeds based promoters Futuresound will offer the chance to enter various competitions allowing the best new bands a fantastic opportunity to play both Leeds and Reading.
