Global Gathering

Basement Jaxx and Faithless will headline Global Gathering, the world's biggest dance festival, joining a line up that features the greatest DJs on the planet. 50,000 people are once again expected to congregate at the Long Marston Airfield on the 27th and 28th July to soak up the incredible atmosphere created by the likes of Paul van Dyk, Carl Cox, Erick Morillo and Armin Van Buuren who will deliver life-changing sets from the 16 state-of-the-art arenas and stages.

The festival's reputation has been built on its commitment to quality and each year the organisers outdo themselves. The bill sees the return of firm favourites Paul Oakenfold; Sasha; Ferry Corsten; Roger Sanchez and 2ManyDJs who are guaranteed to roadblock their arenas.

Once again Radio 1 will host the main stage and broadcast live from the event throughout the entire weekend with Pete Tong and Judge Jules who will broadcast his set live from the Godskitchen Arena. Radio 1's Grooverider, Fabio, Dave Pearce and Annie Mac will also appear across the weekend. The station will bring its listeners unprecedented coverage including a specially extended Essential Mix.

Also new for 07 are the three Ibiza-inspired terraces each programmed by well known clubbing brands:
The Mixmag Terrace will be headlined by The Klaxons who will be swapping instruments for record decks; Polysexual has Anne Savage and guests and Circo Loco will bring over their popular Ibiza residents from DC10.

Accommodation for this year's Global Gathering will be better than ever. The newly expanded campsite is large enough to fit 40 football pitches and includes hot showers and an outdoor cinema. Those wanting the lap of luxury can take advantage of the newly introduced ticket range -  Cloud 9. These packages include VIP tickets, a Global Gathering goodie bag and a souvenir programme.  Guests will be able to park their cars next to their tents and enjoy an exclusive area away from the main campsite.  `Seventh Heaven' hotel packages are also on offer that include free transfers to and from the event.

Options for the Cloud 9 packages include:        
Kip `n' Kit Boulevard includes a fully equipped tent that's pitched ready for arrival and can be taken away afterwards        
Belle Pad Tents - large enough for a group of at least four friends, pitched and fully equipped        
Pod Pads - cute and colourful, these little wooden festival homes come complete with airbeds, sleeping bags, lights and a lockable door      
Camper vans and caravans are also welcome and will be parked in Cloud Nine with easy access to electricity links

Every year since it's launch, Global Gathering has sold out. For young, music lovers it's a world of musical euphoria and dance adventure. It's also not just the guests who are full of anticipation, the DJs and bands are in the same mind frame.
