One of the hottest folk acts in the world SETH LAKEMAN takes centre stage on the Saturday at Beverley Music Festival.

Last week Seth won the 2007 BBC Radio 2 Folk awards for Folk Singer of the Year and Best Album of 2007. He was also nominated for Best Traditional Track and Best Live act!. Seth is without doubt one of the hottest acts around. Forming part of the Sunday line up are BELLOWHEAD, who also walked away from the Radio 2 awards with the Best Group and Best Live Act Award and recently featured on Later with Jools Holland.  Their music has been described as 'steeped in the English tradition but the feel is exciting, sinister, and deeply funky'.

This years event sees another three nights and two days of breathtaking music, dance & comedy with a great guest list for 2007 featuring the finest acts to be found for the event taking place 15-17 JUNE 2007.

And the final spectacular new to the line up? NEW MODEL ARMY who bring their brand of post-punk, folk rock to kick start the festival fun on the Friday. Intense and powerful the band have no less than 5 top 20 hits under their belt and their live set will guarantee to light the musical festival fireworks.

Black Umfolosi 5 have confirmed they will be part of the spectacular closing line up on the final day of Beverley Music Festival. The group much loved around the world, offer their sweet sounds of acapella with their marvellous harmonies and gospel singing as well as their captivating dancing including the gumboot dancing of South Africa. Black Umfolosi deliver their performance with fun and joyful enthusiasm. This bare-torsoed, hard-hatted group, never fail to captivate their audience
