I listen to Kanye's music on the radio because I liked the beat or whatever. I refuse to buy his cd's because I have seen interviews with him and he does hold himself very high. Confidence is great but c**kiness and obnoxiousness is very unappealing to me. I would like to state that many of the character traits that Mr. West displays are not the fruits that are evidence of a true Christian, Whether he really believes what he is saying or whether he is just using the media & these antics to inflate his notoriety, he is defaming the name of Christ. Pride, cursing, not submitting to authority, lying and/or bearing false witness against your neighbor ("George Bush hates black people") are not good fruit. Good fruit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness, goodness, gentleness & self-control.

The funny thing is ... he didnt have anything to do with his success, his producer made him. Packaged him all up, put a mic in his hand, gave him a haircut, and said sing some notes. Then they gave him great marketing and spots on stage in the right camera angle and he takes off, because the hoi polloi buy what they are sold. Now his producer is cringing, because as we can surmise, talking wasnt part of the deal. And his talking will unseat him. The grammys are a sham. They should be ashamed of themselves and attempt to rebuild the dignity of their awards. A GREEN CARPET?
