I agree.. I definitely do not think that Sid stabbed Nancy...
It's sad that Nancys' case was closed and it wasn't further investigated.. it
was just automatically presumed that Sid did it because of their relationship
at times being violent.
But there was the subject of the missing payroll .. yes why would Sid rob
himself.
I've a couple of theories of my own.
1. It was played out just like the final scene in the Alex Cox movie, "Sid and
Nancy" as Nancy was VERY capable of throwing herself on a knife.. She was a
paranoid schizophrenic.. and as a child smashed her fists through storm glass
windows.. she could have very well lunged the knife in herself.
2. Drug deal gone bad which was probably more then likely and Sid was the
scapegoat and was just too whacked out of his mind to really take notice of
anything going on.
3. One of the last things Sid said he remembered seeing was Nancy playing with
the knife before he fell asleep... perhaps the knife was left open in the bed
and during the night it was sticking up and it stabbed her she being so out of
it probably didn't even feel it going in...
They both were as far as I am concerned "decomposing" while they were still
alive.. as Nancys kidneys were giving out.. one can only do so many drugs
before it starts to shut down your internal organs.
I personally think that this Cold Case should be reopened.. and since there are
new technologies in DNA and all that.. but alas probably all the evidence has
been long gone... I think in order to give Sid and yes even Nancy complete
peace the real killer needs to be revealed...
