It should help these institutions for real projects and making changes in the quality of life.

I watched your so-called documentary on how mentally and physically disabled children are treated in Turkish and Romanian institutions and I have found it deceptive and, at times, ludicrous. In the programme a British psychologist and a human- rights barrister were consulted and they both pointed out that every child should have a right to live in dignity. Am I losing the plot here or are the programme makers living in another world? How about everyone’s basic right to live in countries under the American and British occupations and the thousands of civilians- amongst them many children who were killed, left crippled and/or orphaned in the name of democracy? Let’s not go that far! How about all kinds of abuse to which children and the elderly are being subjected to in British institutions? Come on! Tell us the political motive behind making these sneaky programmes. What makes me feel sick is that the hypocrisy of using the human rights concept for opportunistic political interests. To add a bit of spice and sensation why not use the Duchess- poor imitation of Diana- and her daughters, as well? In my opinion, this is another great example of manipulation by the media. Well done, congratulations! But people are not as gullible as you think they are. Moreover, the contemptuous look on the face of the journalist interviewing the Turkish and Romanian authorities still represents the British colonial megalomania inherited from the days of the British Empire on which the sun never set. You are not the rulers of the world any more. Those days are long gone. Accept it and mind your own business! Sort out the gun crime amongst the youngsters in your country. Give a bit of real love and attention to your children. Keep your nose out of other countries’ internal affairs using the shield of human rights in order to disguise your true intentions. I was so touched by this,I am a mummy as well someone that works with children. I cannot beleive that these children are treated like this,I just wish that I had all the money in the world too take them all.I do remember when I was young that this was a problem,so why has this not been seen too.I am so angry that goverment have not been envoled after all they are so interested in doing war, so why not this.Well done sarah you are the best, lots of love samanthaxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
