I have to take my hat off to Patrick Swayze who seems determined to fight back and not allow cancer to control his life. Having a positive attitude really does help. Being determined having that strength of will really can make a difference. It's scary to be told that you have any form of disease and the initial thought for many is will I survive, can I beat this. I lost my lovely Dad to cancer in 1986, my mother-in-law in 2002 and my beloved sister just 10 weeks ago. I also had cancer myself in 1986 and made the decision to beat it. The key is to stay positive, do the things that give you joy and try not to get stressed. Look for complimentry medication that will boost your immune system. Relax and be good to yourself. Stay positive Patrick, keep fighting, you can and will beat the cancer.

I'm so glad Patrick is keeping the stories straight. I like hearing the positive things. We know he has cancer like so many. He is a survivor like so many too fighting this each day. When one gives in, yes they may fail to the disease. We all are here for a purpose and some know what that is an others are still searching. Living each day to the fullest is all we can do with a positive light. I wish there was such thing as only a positive newspaper. A paper that only tells the positive side of stories. Who needs the dirt to only make more stress in this world. Stress is what kills and with the cancer I had made it grow faster. So Do What You Love!!!! Spring Day a year ago I lost my mom to cancer a young beautiful spirit. She was a survivor that beat it for 5 years in stage 4. She did everything she loved til she passed she never gave up. Hope and Doin What You Love In Life Is The Key. So Thanks For Being Such A Leader Patrick! We All Need This Positive Light!!! Who said, "Life Was Going To Be Easy"...*Smiles Across The Miles".... We Are Survivors!!!
