It is encouraging to know that Ms Stewart is keeping in touch with the valuable friends she made while incarcerated. It is an understatement to say that the prison system is broken. We can only hope that under the direction of President-elect Obama we WILL see change to the Federal Prison System. I am the wife of a Federal Inmate and the length of time that these folks are being given to serve is outrageous. I am a proud member of FedCURE, an organization consisting of generous people who donate their time to federal reform, including a new good time credit policy and a proposal for the reinstatement of federal parole. I would ask that Ms Stewart visit these fine folks at www.FedCURE.org and join us in a campaign of letter writing to the USSC concerning our efforts on these reforms. Information about this campaign is available at www.FedCURE.org. To have Ms Stewart on board with FedCURE as a spokesperson and parner would help in all of the efforts being made on behalf of federal inmates. Please consider this request!
