Sir Paul needs to stop crying about his songs. First of all WHY on earth didn't he buy his songs when they were available for purchase. There were FOUR Beatles at one time (plus Yoko) and you mean to tell me collectively they could not come up with the money to buy those songs. PLEASE! Michael Jackson was smart enough to own his songs straight out, Paul should have done the same thing. Aside from that, Sir Paul owns Bo Diddley's catalogue (and other's). I have heard Bo Diddley say on a number of occassions that he would like to buy his songs back from Sir Paul. To date, Bo still does not have his songs back. Paul needs to stop crying about that catalogue. The media is always going on and on about how rich he is, if he weren't so cheap, he would own his songs.

He is still getting paid. It`s not like he is not getting anything. He still gets the songwriting royalties. He doesn`t get the publishing royalties. It sucks he has to pay but the catalogue was for sale twice. He could have bought it the first time. His fault. Now he is a big cry baby. Cheap ass.

It just shows what is wrong with the recording business. It is rediculous that a songwriter has to pay someone else before he can sing his own songs. Surely Michael Jackson would not like it if he had to pay someone else before he can sing his songs. Sir Paul McCartney should have his entire back catalogue back. Since he wrote the songs so they should be his first and foremost. Bidding for the rights is rediculous. Of course it all started with rip offs between Alan Klein and Lew Grade, with ATV music as indicated in a channel four documentary about ten years ago.

How can he be mad at MJ? He was too cheap to buy those rights. Twice. He was even too cheap to pay 20 mil. dollars for it. So, Michael paid 47 million for it and he got it. And I think he deserves it. McCartney needs to wake up.
