Sir Mix A Lot Criticised For Fast Food Ad Message Board and Comments
Comments
My family saw that commercial. This is highly inappropriate!!! My husband who
puts up with allot of garbage out there said this is the worse he's seen for a
commercial for children/family. TAKE IT OFF THE AIR. We loved your food but
after this commercial we just don't know what in the world you are thinking???
You don't have to stoop this low calibar to sell your product... REALLY! It
makes us NOT want to come there... Quit cutting yourself low!
Awful and disgusting.
I'ts gratifying to see that someone else feels the same way I do. I was
surprised, to say the least, that Spongebob was talking about rear ends.
What idiots! And Burger King doesn't want to hear complaints about it either.
The "booty is booty" comment at the end is the part that launches the
commercial from crude and stupid to sick and inappropriate. I'm wondering
whether Burger King execs are too stupid to know what that means, or whether
they think we parents are clueless. Either way, this is one family that will
NOT be visiting Burger King any time soon!
I find the Spongebob commercial lacks any meaning. I agree it does not make me
wish to rush to my nearest BK. More than the Spongbob situation, am i the only
one who finds the Burger King creepy? I have found the use of a mask
completely odd. Again, the face of the "King" makes me want to run for the
hills!! Or the Arches!!
I hate the sponge bob square pants commercial and turn the tv when it comes on
as it is not what I want my grandaughter to be exposed to. And will not be go
to burger king as long as this is the type of people that I will run into
there.
This is about the grossest and most distasefull food commercial I have ever
seen.
It is so low class that I can't believe a company like Burger King would even
think about using it.
Now I ask you, does it do anything at all to make you want to go to a Burger
King and eat??????
All it does is make you sick and show how low class Burger King can be, even
though I can't believe it is Burger King. I think it's the agency you're using.
I'd look at changing agencies.
Thanks
Jim Wilson
This new burger king commercial is wrong for using this type of ad for young
children. Our children should not have to see womens backsides to choose a
place to eat. Spongebob can be used in a non sexual way to get the message to
the kids to eat there. I would not say anything if this was aimed at grownups
but not for kids.
