Rundgren Slams Greedy Led Zeppelin Message Board and Comments

It's not a slam to Robert PLant, Firstly, the article was obviously written for shock value, it really doesn't even relate to what Todd says, secondly, The writer of the article states that LED ZEPPELIN Is headlining the bonnaroo fest (or whatever it's called) Not Todd(So open your eyes Mr. zoso)Thirdly and most importantly, I think Todd was respectful in what he said. He says he beleives Robert is enjoying himself singing songs he enjoys singing with his project with Alison Krauss and suddenly someone dangles the carrot in front of his face. The money and the pressure from the other members sort of takes him from his enjoyment to screaming out songs that he can no longer sing. I've heard the reunion show and I don't think he sounded very good. He didn't sound into it and stayed away from the high notes for the most part. He can't scream anymore and hasn't been able to since his 30's so age is not a factor.

TODD IS GODD! Thank Godd he doesn't write music for the purpose of being a "radio hit", otherwise his songs would suck like everything else on the radio.

Todd has always had a chip on his shoulder regarding Led Zeppelin. He was somehow snubbed or insulted long ago by someone in the Zep entourage and is still pouting about it. This recent comment is particularly idiotic considering Plant, Page, and Jones are worth well in excess of 250 million dollars each, and have turned down billion dollar package tour offers for over thirty years. Todd sounds more petty and ridiculous every time he craps on Zeppelin. He should give it a rest.

Well, talk about shooting yourself in the foot, leg, and balls! Todd, it's "LEZ ZEPPELIN" that are booked for Bonaroo - NOT the original Icons. An apology to the people involved might be appropriate at this point. How embaressing, you might want to check your sources better before you handle that quick-trigger mouth you have Todd.
