Rashida is right on. My mother African American Baptist, my father Russian Romanian Jew have been together until death did she part. I struggled growing up in my own family dynamic and trying to live peacfully with my own siblings then top it off with the rest of the world who would challenge who I am. For a long time it felt like I was fighting for my life and I got really bitter. I had to work real hard to get back to that loving kid that got picked on while I was growing up in the late 60's early 70's. My mission now is to remind everyone that we are all one. It does not matter where we came from and when you look into our homes we all still have the same family relationship challenges, it doesn't matter what color your skin is. Yes, I wrote about it. It is a theater piece running in New York City called- Random Sharp Objects: The Story of How I Got the Past Out of My Ass. We're all one! Peace and Blessings Esther
