Pirates Producers To Kill Off Bloom Message Board and Comments

This is so stupid. They cant do this. Without the three main catacters the is no Pirates of the Caribian. Its like cuttig off Daniel Radciffe in Harry Potter in book 3. I mean come on people, would you stop and think for a sec.?

This has to be a rumour - and a ridiculous one at that! There's no way they would do that, it would just wreck it. They have no need to cut costs anyway it made so much money.It hasn't even been said officially that they're doing a fourth anyway has it?

You cannot and it is virtually impossible to make a Pirates of the Caribbean movie without Johnny Depp, Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightly. Wake up people!!!

they probably aren't cutting off gibbs because of his part in the crew... and i wouldnt really mind seeing a pirates without orlando... but i dont see how doing that will be cutting costs when they just made alot of money, which is somewhat because of him... x Nash

Okay, that's preposterous. If these writers are leaning towards some kind of romance between Jack and the Kera Knightly character then that is a HUGE mistake. Capt. Jack is a comic character. Give him a comic girlfriend to moon over in some ridiculous way if you think he needs a romantic interest and leave poor Orlando's girlfriend alone. Children want to believe in true love. Let them. I really don't think Johnny would play in such a movie that screws his friend Orlando out of a job so Pirates IV ain't going to happen without Orlando. Cutting expenses? Why? they just made like a billion trillion dollars! Put it back into the films and really make it great. Surely you jest.

Goodness!! This is a real shocker to me. First, I never heard about a 4th Pirates movie, then a Pirates movie without Orlando Bloom who is one of the original cast and also one of the main reasons most people go to see these movies just won't do. I hope the producers realise that by killing off Will Turner as a way of cutting cost might just means cutting off some of your earnings too. No sequels are ever the same without the main characters....

this is just crap. for a start there isn't going to be a fourth installment, number three is the last. and do you really think a huge big budget company are going to be having 'budget' problems with a film that has made them squillions! plus they wouldn't kill of will unless it was part of the story.

By all means kill Will off. He's just annoying and I think it'd make such a good twist/storyline. I'm not interested in Will at all. I go to see the film because of Johnny & Keria. They make it for me, so I'm glad they aren't affected.

This is nuts. Kill off Will and I won't see the fourth episode. Watching Will die would kill *me* and turn a fun series into a sadistic mess. Granted this ending is set up in the first film when Will says, "I'd die for her." But end up with Sparrow?? Get real. He's twice her age. If you think Governor Swan had problems with a blacksmith for a son-in-law, he'll have a stroke with a pirate.
