Osment Struggles To Shake Off Child Star Image Message Board and Comments

I worked at the theater in which Haley was rehearsing and performing in American Buffalo for the past month. It gave me the opportunity to see him in rehearsals, performances and off stage six days a week. It sure didn't look like he was struggling to me. He's doing just fine and held his own as a classy pro in a production that was doomed by the mismanagement of its producers from day one. This enormously gifted young man is refining his craft, adapting to more mature, age appropriate roles and exuding grace and charm that is very impressive. If he needs his picture updated, can't his agent get on the ball and make it happen? If there was any struggle on Mr. Osment's part that I observed, it was to use his warm people skills to undo the New York attitude of the security force that was often abrupt and offensive to fans of the cast.
