Moss Targeted By Animal Rights Protesters Message Board and Comments
Comments
After leaving my last post, i have read the above posts and only hope for the
same.My comments were not aimed at you, obviously and i was slightly
sidetracked by other issues and should have stuck to the point...To keep it
simple, i do hope most people continue not to wear fur or display around their
homes...Also that some good can come of sitsuation's such as this and to
actually find a little peace and hope for change in the future...
I wish everyone out there who seems to be enjoying any chance they get to have
a go at Kate Moss would find something else to occupy their small minds as it
is really getting old now...Leave her alone and take a good look at oneself
before pointing the finger...On my recent return from California i was more
than surprised how much more difficult it is over here in the UK for anyone in
the public eye. On the issue of fur, whether it be wearing selling, being vegan,
am alway's deeply saddened at seeing anyone wearing fur,but not everyone sees
through the same eyes...
life is sacred to every , singular and remarkable manifestation of living.....
nothing is often a good thing to do ....and always a good thing to say::::mrs
Moss now care........and probably can be very useful to social and living and
care campaings all over.the worl ..I whish that from my heart...fashion is not
over....never end..........
very truly

It's appalling to see these "stars" still wearing fur, after they have
repeatedly been made aware of the problems associated with the Chinese fur
trade and the ethical problems with supporting it.
According to the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), "Millions of dogs
and cats [including pets] are slaughtered every year for the [Chinese] fur
trade." China supplies more than half of the fur garments imported for sale
into the United
States. Dog and cat fur is deliberately mislabeled as fur from other species
so that it can be sold to unsuspecting Americans.
Everyone from Martha Stewart to Paul McCartney has denounced this fur,
including some of the largest clothing retailers. J. Crew, Ann Taylor (who has
740 stores in 45 states), Abercrombie and Fitch, Olan
Mills, and U.K.'s most highly respected fashion chain Topshop, have all stopped
selling fur after seeing the Chinese Fur Trade videos.
This is not an issue that concerns only animal rights advocates. The cruelty is
so horrendous that mainstream citizens are climbing
onboard this boycott.
Anyone even thinking about wearing fur has an
obligation to seek out information about where the fur comes from. They should
go to the Humane Society web site or the Fur Is Dead website and view the short
videos. Why do some people continue to think fur is stylish? Are we still
living in the stone age?
