Somehow I don't think George is in it for the money!
And since when did disapproval of sexual preference interfere with one's
ability to celebrate a
person's music?? We are actually a very "friendly" bunch here, and we know
truly outstanding musical ability when we see it. This is a wonderful step
forward for the UAE, and we will welcome him with open arms!

My advice would be to not go, given their thoughts on gay people and drugs.
George, you don't need the 1.7 mil. There are plenty of other "friendly"
places that would love to see you perform. If you need the $1.7 mil that
badly, rethink your spending!
