I have just seen Mccullough on TV sporting a huge bandage on his virtually undamaged face. No bruising no swelling what a miracle that a person's nose could be broken and yet need no medical attention at all until all this blew up and leaving no outward sign except a tiny scratch. Doubtless he had to make himself look less of a jerk for making a fuss about nothing so he got the bandage put on hours and hours after the event. I hope Mr Sutherlands lawyers will get an independant x-ray done and have the guy arrested for perverting the course of justice. I would rather have Mr Sutherland ,who was trying to stand up for a woman, as a friend than Mccullough who in my opinion seems to be a liar.

A girl at work had her nose broken playing sports. She said she had to hold a basin under it because there was so much blood. Her nose was the size of a tennis ball and she had a plaster cast fixed to her face for weeks. I CANNOT believe that someone whose nose was broken would be able to refuse medical help at the time. It seems to me that this is just a ruse to make Mr Sutherland look worse than he was. Knowing he can get carried away when he has had some drinks maybe the best thing for Mr Mccollough to have done was to say to Miss Shields "I didn't realise I had bumped into you but if I did I certainly apoloogise." Costs nothing and no harm done. I am NOT excusing Mr Sutherland's behaviour but the situation could have been defused before it got that far.
