Zeppelin without Bonham wasn't the same band either. The same statement said the yr Bonham died should still stand true today. " ....we cant continue as we were...." or something like that ?. Led Zeppelin died when bonham died. It was their time, there will not be another. Zeppelin is not an "IS", Zepplin IS a "was". He (Plant)obviously feels the same today as he did in Oct '80. Some things you cant get back, wanting something wont make it so. Leave Zeppelin where they left themselves.Sorry but there is no "Coda" here... no return. They will record a CD and tour under the name but thats it. Whats in a name? Jones said recently they dont want to be a tribute band and try to find another Robert... so what are they essentially doing? Its not Zeppelin. Some folks may have a bad taste in their mouth for Robert not wanting to do this but for them doing it without him leaves a taste just as bad in mine. Whats a guitar and a bass? It feels more and more like a corporate money grab just trying to rape the name 1 last time . I thank you Robert for being the one not to sell out.

Jimmy Page needs to rescue Robert Plant from the clutches of Allison Kraus. I saw Plant and Kraus perform together at Austin City Limits 2008 and it was that bad it enough to make a grown man cry. I'd go see Zep without Plant as he may be a lost cause. What a shame!

Well, they can. But it won't be the same band. I mean, Led Zepp without Robert Plant is NOT Led Zep. That's all.
