I appreciate a good didgeridoo song over a poorly played violin solo anyday, whether it's played by a 'sheila' or a mate... I'm sure that if it's played well, as it's been taught, there will be no problem from the aboriginal side..... just my thought...

Hi there, I am shocked there is such a stampede about this. I am a female didgeridoo player and custodians of the yidaki (in Arnhemland) taught me to play. Gave me their blessings, I am sure Nicole couldn't play a ceremonial song, which is forbidden for females, but that would be strange, because no person would teach her that. Kind regards, Lies
