Hey Volfly, I know you must be a female. I don't know any MAN (still living) that could write something as beautifully and eloquently as you wrote! Sorry if I offended anyone! But, I couldn't even read it in one sitting, I was crying too hard and had to take a break! I, too saw the film and it is everything you said and more! Unfortunately, most people that thought bad about him won't even think about going to see the film. But that's ok cause there are just as many and even more people out here that are fans and believed he was innocent from the beginning! Anyway, I just wanted to let you know how you touched my heart with the wonderful things you said and I can't wait till it comes out in DVD so I can sit and watch it as often as I like and can CRY as much as I want. My heart hurts for him and his family, especially his children. To think he was going to do this mainly for them, so they could see for themselves why everyone wanted to just touch him, or why he was followed everywhere he went. Now they can only watch videos and imagine what it must have been like to see him perform on stage! MICHAEL we all love and miss you very much! MAY YOU (FINALLY) REST IN PEACE!!!!!

If anyone knows where that photo of MJ that is on the front of I believe it would be Ortise's shirt. It's the black and white one where MJ has his fingers around his beautiful eyes...I want that photo and have never seen it anywhere else. Please someone, send me one or tell me where I can go and find it myself! Thanks! harlea

Although this film is not sad, it still touched me at times, especially when he sang 'I'll Be There'. I started to well up and had to fight hard to hold back the tears, This film was Michael doing what he loved to do, and what we loved seeing him do. To end it on that horrible news would have made it unbearably sad and taken away everything that this film was about. I, with many in the theatre, were clapping after he finished routines, singing along with songs and generally having a good time. To then see them announce what happened would have us all leaving on a downer. Michael would never have wanted that.

I just got back home from seeing "THIS IS IT" and this movie...did just what Kenny Ortega hoped it would do...it is indeed what he has hoped!! It is indeed, from my viewpoint, a legacy film strictly about Michael Jackson and his genius, his LOVE, his purity of spirit!! It's an extraordinary documentary film about Michael Jackson's soul, this beautiful, amazing and extraordinarily talented man and his vision for the upcoming shows that would have been "This Is It". A rare glimpse of Michael at work, doing what he did better than anyone out there, and doing it with such grace, dignity and LOVE for all of those that were with him on the journey. It is indeed a legacy piece, and no doubt this movie will illuminate for those who might still be "in the dark" about the TRUE nature of this man...the soul of this man named Michael Jackson that was the kindest and most loving person that we could have ever imagined. A perfectionist about his craft, but guided and lead his players with a GENUINELY loving and kind spirit and heart. Tears streamed down my face at the end of this movie...still streaming now...as the realization hit me that Michael Jackson left our planet with his PURE, LOVING, GRACIOUS AND GENTLE spirit fully intact, despite the many ugly experiences he had been called upon to live thru at the hands of the UGLY people of the world!!! His soul remained pure and gentle...and he continued, and will ALWAYS continue to spread his message of LOVE AND PEACE!!!! I LOVE YOU MICHAEL JACKSON...and hope and pray that this message you have left us with will continue to enlighten the world...I GOT YOUR MESSAGE, I appreciate your gifts, and with your inspiration I will march forward on my own journey, with a torch lit in your memory and honor for the rest of my days on this planet. This is an important documentary for all of us to see...to LEARN from this genius and musical icon. What Michael Jackson was about was MUCH greater than music. "This IS IT"...makes it abundantly clear!!
