It is not my place to comment on who was right and who was wrong... but didn't it work out that Michael held on to what would have been LOST TO THE WIFE. In the end he looked out for his friend and did what he hoped was right. The same can't be said of the person who was both his friend and life partner. People make mistakes and don't always exhibit the best of human nature. No one knows what ACTUALLY happened. I'm sure there are many, many lessons in how such talented, giving people still had issues in this area and lost so much.

The issue isn't whether Michael paid for the rights fair and square, it's that Paul was his friend and Paul *introduced* Michael to the whole business behind buying the rights to music. Paul told Michael not to let the business managers let happen to him what happened to the Beatles, who were young and didn't know enough and thus didn't own the rights to their own songs. So with all that in mind, you can see why Paul would be upset when Michael went and outbid him and Yoko for the rights to the Beatles catalogue.

The catalogue was for bidding. Sir Paul knew that it was. Infact they participated on the bidding. Deals the highest will be the owner. They have the option to buy on BID. I think it was a plain business tactics that anyone who has the money can buy it. Even myself. Thats a fair share. I dont see any reason MJ was at fault, infact he pays it from his own money. He worked hard for it.

There should be no fued. Michael got the catalog fair/square. Instead of paul getting angry, he should've bought the catalog, instead of telling mike to do it.Let go back, he gave mike the opportunity to buy the catalog.Would paul have acted the same way if yoko bought him out. He would have to pay her too. Michael is being kind and trying to make piece. He rightfully don't have to do it.what was the reason why paul didn't buy the catalog way before the auction. Did he not have the money to outbid michael or yoko? You see that michael own his stuff jackson five as well as some of elvis, madonna's catalog. excluding elvis the others aren't worried about their catalogs. Simply put, it goes to the highest bidder.

Michael- Why don't you finally do the right thing and let Paul and the other Beatles buy back THEIR music- why should Paul and the others have to pay you and Sony to play their own music. You lost me and millions of other fans when you screwed yopur old pal over by buying HIS music. Be a decent human being for once!
